Answers to the questions institutional buyers ask most when setting up and ordering through the STASKA portal. Don't see your question? Call us at 402-782-2207 (or toll-free 888-801-1370).
What is a 503B outsourcing facility, and how is it different from a 503A pharmacy?
STASKA is an FDA-registered 503B compounding outsourcing facility. A 503B facility compounds medications in larger batches for office use under heightened FDA oversight. A 503A pharmacy, by contrast, compounds against an individual patient-specific prescription. Because we operate as a 503B outsourcing facility, you can order office stock in bulk for in-office administration.
Do I need a patient-specific prescription to order?
No. As a 503B outsourcing facility, STASKA supplies medications for office use, so you order bulk office stock for administration at your facility — no patient-specific prescription is required to place an order.
How do I get pricing?
Pricing is not publicly displayed and is available only to approved customers. Customers must submit an application request for access to the ordering portal. Once approved, the applicable pricing for your account will be available when you log in. Visitors who are not logged in may browse available products and product details but will be prompted to log in or apply for access to view pricing.
How do I place an order?
Once your account is active: log in, browse the catalog (each product shows its details, including its current beyond-use date), add items to your cart at your account's pricing, then submit your order and choose your shipping method at checkout.
What are your account / credentialing requirements?
Accounts are reserved for licensed healthcare facilities ordering for office use. To set up an account we verify the purchasing provider's state license is valid and active, and we collect your facility name, shipping address, and billing contact. Accounts are reviewed and approved by STASKA before access is granted.
What is the beyond-use date (BUD), and how do you handle lot tracking?
Every compounded product carries a beyond-use date (BUD) — the specific date through which the medication is within its established dating period and is considered suitable for use, when stored under the specified conditions. The BUD shown reflects the current batch being sold and is updated as we move to a new lot. If you need lot-specific documentation for a shipment, contact us and we’ll provide it.
How do I reorder?
Log in and reorder the same items from the catalog at your account's current pricing. Your account keeps a record of activity in the portal, so placing a repeat order is quick — no phone calls or emails required.
What are your payment terms?
Payment is handled securely at checkout. All STASKA accounts are set up as tax-exempt, since you're purchasing prescription medications. If your facility has specific billing or accounts-payable needs, let us know when you set up your account.
How do I change my shipping address or medical director?
Contact customer support at 402-782-2207 (toll-free 888-801-1370). Address changes require your medical director’s authorization.
